Tiantian Zhu is a fully bilingual (Chinese) lawyer practicing divorce and family law from the firm’s headquarters in Everett, just blocks from Snohomish County’s superior court. Ms. Zhu earned her first law degree from China, graduating in the top 10% of her class.
To transfer her law credentials to the United States, she went on to earn an LL.M from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. Washington University in St. Louis ranks among the top 10% in US law schools. While there, she won an award for oral advocacy and entered the school’s advanced law degree program (JSD), a degree beyond what most US lawyers receive. She has completed the program’s course requirements and expects her advanced degree in December 2023.
For Ms. Zhu, working with divorce and family law clients is more than a job. She sees her occupation as a chance to help people in their times of greatest need, and she has even published a law review article on marriage. Being selected for law review publication is an honor usually reserved for law professors and top students.
